Declaration on the Use of Journal Electronic Seal

To standardize the issuance and authentication of editorial documents for the academic journals under its imprint, and to improve the efficiency and recognizability of document management, BrightSpring International Innovation Investment Group Co., Limited (hereinafter “the Publisher”) hereby makes the following declaration regarding the adoption of a journal electronic seal for Computer and Intelligent Education Technology:

1. Adoption

Effective August 27, 2026, the Publisher formally authorizes the editorial office of Computer and Intelligent Education Technology to use a dedicated Journal Electronic Seal.

The electronic seal is authorized centrally by the Publisher and is used to confirm that relevant editorial documents have been formally issued by the editorial office of this journal, and to verify the authenticity of their source.

2. Scope of Application

The Journal Electronic Seal may be used, as required, on the following documents:

  1. Acceptance Letters;
  2. Publication Certificates;
  3. Review certificates or Reviewer Certificates;
  4. Certificates of appointment or invitation for editorial board members, young editorial board members, etc.;
  5. Certificates issued by the editorial office relating to manuscript handling, publication or academic activities;
  6. Other journal editorial documents authorized by the Publisher.

Whether the Journal Electronic Seal is applied to a particular document is determined by the Publisher or the editorial office according to the nature of the document.

3. Nature of the Electronic Seal

The Journal Electronic Seal is an electronic authentication mark for journal editorial affairs authorized by the Publisher. It is mainly used to identify the source of documents and to confirm that they have been formally issued by the editorial office of this journal.

The Journal Electronic Seal is not the Common Seal of the Publisher, and does not by itself replace corporate legal documents that must be signed, sealed or otherwise confirmed by an authorized representative of the Publisher in accordance with law or contract.

Legal or commercial matters at the corporate level, including company contracts, banking, equity and financing, shall be handled in accordance with the Publisher's applicable authorization and signing procedures.

4. Use and Management

The Journal Electronic Seal is managed by editorial office staff authorized by the Publisher and is used in accordance with internal document management rules.

Without authorization from the Publisher or the editorial office, no individual or organization may copy, modify, produce, use or otherwise misappropriate the electronic seal.

If any unauthorized use, forgery or alteration of the Journal Electronic Seal or related documents is discovered, the Publisher reserves the right to invalidate the documents concerned and to take appropriate measures as the circumstances require.

5. Verification of Document Authenticity

Documents bearing the Journal Electronic Seal should, in principle, also contain the necessary identifying information, including but not limited to:

  • Journal name;
  • Document title;
  • Manuscript number or document number;
  • Article title or relevant matter;
  • Date of issue;
  • Name and signature of the editor or editor-in-chief (where applicable);
  • Official journal email address and website.

Where the Publisher or the journal provides an online verification service, documents may also include a verification number, QR code or other authenticity verification information.

Organizations or individuals who wish to verify the authenticity of a document may contact the editorial office via the journal's official website or official email address.

6. Validity

Any document formally issued by the editorial office within the scope of authorization and bearing this Journal Electronic Seal shall be deemed an official journal document issued by the editorial office of this journal.

The specific matters certified by a document are subject to the content stated in the document and the official records of the editorial office.

7. Miscellaneous

The Publisher reserves the right to adjust the design, scope of application, management and verification mechanisms of the Journal Electronic Seal according to the operational and management needs of the journal.

This declaration takes effect from the date of publication.
