Abstract

Objective: To explore the incidence of irregular menstruation after HPV vaccination, analyze the efficacy of personalized intervention measures in reducing this adverse reaction, and provide reference for health management after HPV vaccination.

Methods: A total of 44 women who received HPV vaccination in the vaccination clinic of our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected as research subjects. They were divided into control group and intervention group by random number table method, with 22 cases in each group. The control group received routine vaccination procedures and health notification without additional interventions. On the basis of the control group, the intervention group received personalized health assessment before vaccination, intensified guidance on precautions during vaccination, and targeted follow-up and interventions after vaccination. The incidence of irregular menstruation, time for menstrual recovery and total incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.

Results: The incidence of irregular menstruation in the intervention group (9.09%) was lower than that in the control group (36.36%), the menstrual recovery time was shorter, and the total incidence of adverse reactions in the intervention group (13.64%) was lower than that in the control group (40.91%). The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).

Conclusion: There is a certain risk of irregular menstruation after HPV vaccination. Personalized interventions can significantly reduce the incidence of irregular menstruation and related adverse reactions and shorten menstrual recovery time. Such interventions have prominent clinical application value and are worthy of promotion.
